Sweeten up your Thanksgiving table with these three easy maple recipes.
Maple Butternut Squash
This easy to prepare side dish will make a colorful, sweet addition to any Thanksgiving table.
Butternut Squash
Maple Syrup
Brown Sugar
Vanilla Extract
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
Cut both ends off of your butternut squash, then in half.
Using a spoon, scoop and clean out all seeds.
Coat the inside of the squash with olive oil, place skin side up on a baking sheet.
Roast for 40-60 minutes, check for doneness using a fork. Squash should be tender when poked.
Scoop the squash from the skins, add to a food processor for a smooth puree, or use a hand masher for a more rustic mash. Once in the processor or bowl for mashing, drizzle maple syrup, sprinkle brown sugar to taste, and vanilla extract.

Maple Sangria
This sweet cocktail will be a crowd pleaser, Perfect to make ahead of time to enjoy when the fun begins.
One Bottle Pinot Grigio
2 Cups Apple Cider
1/2 cup Brandy
1/2 cup Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice
1 Orange, sliced
1 apple, sliced
2 Cinnamon sticks for taste
Maple Simple Syrup (1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup maple syrup simmered for 5 minutes, then cooled)
Ginger Beer for serving
Glass Rim - Caramel Sauce, 2 tsp. Cinnamon and 2 tbsp. Maple Sugar
Combine Wine, Apple Cider, Brandy, Orange Juice and Maple Simple Syrup in pitcher.
Float on top Orange, Apple and Cinnamon Sticks.
Mix Cinnamon and Maple Sugar and add to a plate.
Rim Glass with Caramel Sauce, then with Maple Sugar Mixture.
Fill Glass 3/4 full with Sangria and top with Ginger Beer.

Maple Butter
This maple twist on a classic ingredient, will melt hearts when spread on warm rolls, breads or carrots.
2 Sticks Butter, Unsalted, room temperature
1/2 cup maple syrup
pinch of salt
pinch of cinnamon
Add all ingredients to mixer bowl.
Mix until all ingredients are combined and fluffy
Spread on!
